I started working with Rachel in January 2017 just two weeks after the birth of my third child. Working with Rachel helped me to focus on regaining my post-pregnancy shape while nursing. Over the course of the past year I’ve worked to learn my food and feel very confident maintaining my current weight. There are so many things I can write about how much working with Rachel has been beneficial: Rachel always encouraged me to own my own success but I know for a fact I wouldn't have done it with it her questions, encouragement, prompting and accountability. Surprisingly setting eating goals is so small in the whole scheme of all the support she provides to her clients. I don't know how she does it - it has to be hard to tell us what we truly need to hear in a loving way. To be honest, some weeks I really didn't like her (well not HER really but what she had to say) but when I thought about it for awhile, every time she was right. Speaking the hard truth in love is tough and takes guts and Rachel is very good at it. I’ve lost 24 pounds and gained a new understanding of how to eat and enjoy the foods I love.
