What to Expect: A Guide to Your Truth Journey
After receiving several inquiries about what services are included as a client of Truth Nutrition Coaching, I thought it would be helpful to share the details. So, here you go!
When you sign up, I send you an Intake Form to complete that will provide me with the information needed to structure Phase 1 of your nutrition program. If you have access to a local Complete Nutrition store (they have an InBody scale) or have another way to get your body fat tested, I recommend that you provide me with that information, as well. It’s not 100% required but having your body fat percentage allows me to set your nutrition goals with more precision. If you don’t have that information, I calculate your macro goals based on the information you provide me in your intake form. Both options will yield results. You will also set up a My Fitness Pal account to log your food. It’s free and simple to sign up! Finally, you also need a food scale and body weight scale (I love my Ozeri Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food scale, which can be found on Amazon.com here: Ozeri Pronto Food Scale).
Once I have your intake form and other initial info (including pictures & measurements), I send you your specific Phase 1 macronutrient goals (protein, carbohydrate, fat). There are up to four phases of the journey; your progression through those phases depends on how “dialed in” you’d like to go and what your personal goals are. Some people stay in Phase 1 and others hang out in maintenance mode in Phase 3 indefinitely. It’s your journey so, ultimately, you control the pace based on your comfort level and success. Logging your food on My Fitness Pal makes it super easy for you to track how closely you’re meeting you goals. And don’t fret, I have a YouTube tutorial on how to use MFP for macro counting to share with you. I also provide exercise recommendations based on the goals you share with me in your intake form. When I send those initial goals I also send you my “expectations” for the week (how closely you should aim to get to your macro goals). Remember, you have access to me 24/7 via email for encouragement, questions, and other feedback. I want to hear from you! You also have access to my private FB group so you can connect with my other clients and get additional support resources, tips and accountability.
On a weekly basis you complete a spreadsheet with specific information for the week. This spreadsheet should only take 5 minutes to complete and is shared via Google Drive. Along with the spreadsheet, you send me updated pictures each week and an email that tells me how you felt during the week along with any addition information you feel is relevant. I will respond to you within 24 hours and share any changes to your macro goals or exercise recommendations.
I do require a three-month commitment and PROMISE results in those three-months if you follow your personalized plan. Every client that has finished their 90 day period has been thrilled with their progress. But it’s important that you follow the plan. You are in control of your results. Macro counting has changed my life and the lives of many of my friends. It takes all the guessing out of eating and allows you to take control of what you eat and how you feel (and your body composition). By adopting this eating lifestyle you will truly “be set free”.
