Meet Stephanie

I am now down to 143 lbs and going to the gym 4-5 times a week! I am still working on losing a few more pounds but am just about at my original goal.

Her story...

Stephanie started her nutrition coaching on January 1, 2017. She had put on some additional weight and was struggling to take it off on her own. After trying various diets, including severe caloric restriction and exercise, she wasn't making progress and felt pretty discouraged. She was feeling a bit depressed and defeated. The beginning of her journey was tough because of the mental shift required from viewing food as the enemy to viewing food as essential for progress (scale, and non-scale). It took some time but as she began to learn her food, increase her caloric intake, and incorporate a bit of added activity her body began responding favorably to the changes.

After her initial three- month commitment, Stephanie decided to continue on her own and, as her coach, honestly I was a bit skeptical that she was ready. But boy did she prove me wrong! In June, I was thrilled to receive the following email from Stephanie:

"I was just thinking about you and how much you helped me be more conscious of what and how much I was eating. After working with you for three months and seeing the changes the foods I was eating had on my body I decided to start researching and reading more about nutrition ect. I would love to know more about the classes you took to further educate yourself to the leve you're at now! I am now down to 143 lbs and going to the gym 4-5 times a week! I am still working on losing a few more pounds but am just about at my original goal."

She continued to make progress and continues to make progress towards her goal of learning her food and eating to her goals! Not only is she eating a more balanced diet, but she's so excited about her progress and the impact that food has on her overall health that she's interested in continuing her education with some formal training on nutrition. I'm so proud of her progress and excited to see her continue on her journey!
